Effects of Different Influencing Factors on Temperature Distributions and Cooling Performance of Turbocharger Bearing Casing

In order to study temperature distributions under different influencing factors and evaluate the cooling performance of turbocharger bearing casing, water-cooling system experiments regarding casing are carried out, an improved fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) evaluation method for evaluating its design is proposed firstly. Then, effects various such as cooling-water inlet flow velocity, temperature, pressure exhaust on investigated according experimental results. Finally, in evaluated based FAHP method. The results show that drop rate a decreasing trend with increase but rise temperature; temperatures velocities 4 m/s, 5 m/s 6 reduced by 4.1%, 5.9% 6.7% compared 3 respectively. addition, firstly reduce then pressure, where boiling heat transfer plays important role; points 1, 2 have relatively higher than other all working conditions; six measuring also increases between 0.1 MPa 0.25 MPa. Moreover, value 87.7620, level good, which indicates has desirable performance. This work provides reference turbocharger’s enhancement.
